Double End Baths
Double End Baths: Double end means that the bath has two backrests unlike a single end that only has one. The two backrests ensure that no one gets stuck with the tap end as the bath taps and waste are mounted on the sides of the bath. On a double end bath the taps can either be mounted to the front or the back edge of the bath. Showering over a double ended bath has to be considered a little problematic as the slope of the bath moves the bather away from the shower head. It can cause problems with slipping so bear that in mind. It can be done if you need to fit a shower over the bath as most fixed shower heads these days have an adjustable shower elbow which means you can tilt the shower head towards you. I would advise a longer bath screen as you are around six to eight inches further away from the shower head.
